Installation & Removal

Our Classic tapes are designed with plenty of stretch for easy installation and superior comfort.


Installation

While the tape stretches well, avoid overdoing it. Pulling too hard or applying strong force can cause the tape to crack or snap. We recommend firm, steady tension for a solid result.

Overstretching or excessive pressure when installing may compromise the tape’s structure and longevity.

To finish installation, lock the bar tape in place with regular or electrical tape and top it off with the supplied finishing tape.

Removal

Our Classic tape range uses a dependable silicone gel backing to keep your wrap secure.

When it’s time for a refresh or a visit to the mechanical, the silicone gel lifts away easily and can be reapplied hassle-free.

If any light residue lingers, grab acetone, a hair dryer or citrus cleaner for a swift clean up.

Burgh's silicone gel backing makes the whole process forgiving. Give things a slight stretch on application, and if it doesn't go to plan, simply remove and start again.
